Gold Coast Resort, Morib (28 February- 1 March 2014)

To celebrate our 5th year anniversary we decided that a quick gateaway should be in order :) Thanks to a Groupon Deal we decided to visit Gold Coast Resort and Theme Park Morib for our first holiday destination in 2014

Date: 28 February 2014- 1 March 2014
Venue/Website: Gold Coast Hotel, Morib

Love the huge full length mirror in the foyer. Awesome for "group selfie" port :)

There's no double bed available, but we made do with the twin beds by pushing it close together. No extra pillows readily available but the beds are comfortable and spacey enough to fit 5 (yes FIVE) of us :p

TV (limited channel) and the tv cabinet which my children find amusing

The centre of attention : The jacuzzi.
My children was begging to jump in when they first saw it
Another plus point? The toilet was thoroughly cleaned :)

If you're looking for activities outside the hotel, the Morib Beach is only 5 minutes drive away. They have restored the beach, so there's ample place to play and laze around in. A bit of a warning, there's a lot of monkeys running around, so a picnic may not be an entirely good idea.

There are also food stalls in the beachfront. Food is quite good and cheap.

No words needed, just look at their expressions :)

Day 2 : Water Funday

I'm quite happy with the selection of breakfast which came free for 2 adults.
Children over 90cm needs to pay RM18. Thank god we only had to pay for Ryan but paying RM18 for his meal of 2 bowls of koko crunch and 1 mini sausage is a tad too steep :p

The view of the water theme park from our room

There's a few slides and water features in the park. Children under 12 may enjoy it. Older kids may find it a tad bit boring. As long as you don't expect Sunway Lagoon type of attractions, I think you'll be fine... I know my children had tons of fun :) Alhamdullilah

My lovely babies

You can rent the float for RM10 (+RM10 deposit)
The float came in 2 sizes the yellow one for kids and pink one for adults

Review: I rate our experience at the hotel 8/10. We had tons of fun and as we checked in on a Friday, we managed to avoid the weekend/school holiday crowd. We won't hesitate to come here again especially if we're in need of a short break :)
